The background will always have Peach's Castle overlap othr background. Do not check this if you want 1-1 to be randomised
Level gemotry, autoscroll, and some other stuff are hardcoded here. Placing 2-Castle outside its orginal map position will also crash the game on level loads. DO NOT uncheck this unless you have some actual good reasons to.
This level is centred around the red switch on the World 3 map. Putting it in place of other levels may result in non-progressable game, or unreachable levels, so checking it is recommended
Similar to 3-4, this level is somewhat centred around the red switch. However, the normal exit would still be accessible, so this would not make the game unbeatable.
Some area is hardcoded to kill the player if they are above a certain height. Check this if you fear that might happen (although the chance of having 6-Castle unbeatable is small with this unchecked)
Liquid waves is hardcoded to appear in this level, and the waves will be lava regardless of appearance
Upon beating this level, the player will be going straight to the ending cutscene and credits. Check this if you do not want your game to end early.
